Marni

Consuelo Castiglioni founded Marni in 1994 and shaped its creative identity until her departure in 2016. Her approach combined practical dressing with an artistic appetite for color, print and unusual combinations. The label developed a following among women drawn to clothes with personality beyond conventional glamour. For collectors, her departure is an important dividing point: a Marni label identifies the house, while a documented collection or season helps establish whether a piece belongs to the founder’s era.
