Rosita Missoni brought a family background in textiles to the knitwear workshop she established with Ottavio Missoni in Gallarate in 1953, the year they married. Their early business grew from experimentation with knitting and color into a house recognized internationally. Rosita’s contribution is central to that story: Missoni was a creative partnership, rather than the work of one namesake designer. The family archive traces the workshop, early retail relationships and collections that shaped the label.
