Signature Tool · Sui Generis Intelligence
Turn the label inside your garment into a smarter starting point.
Photograph or upload a clear care, composition, product or brand label. Sui Generis Intelligence reads visible text and identifiers, identifies likely designer and line context, and applies documented reference rules while keeping collection dating separate from production information.
Try It Now
Use a sharp, uncropped image for the strongest reading.
Add up to four label photos. For clothing, include the brand/neck label and the care/product label when available; front and back tag photos can be analyzed together. The storefront does not save the selected photos.
Optional: identify each photo as a Brand / neck label, Care / product label, or Code / stamp. This helps Sui Generis Intelligence keep line identity separate from production and care information.

Vintage & Archival
Vintage pieces often predate current labels, codes and digital identifiers. Use period-appropriate evidence rather than comparing every older item to today’s boutique product.
How to Use the Library
Start with designer, category, product family, likely era, material and complete style reference.
Check labels and codes alongside construction, materials, hardware, dimensions and documented context.
A correct-looking number cannot override a mismatched model, transplanted label or inconsistent construction.
Important Notice
No affiliation or endorsement. Sui Generis Designer Consignment is an independent reseller and is not affiliated with, authorized by, endorsed by or sponsored by any designer or brand referenced in this library. Brand names, logos, trademarks and other identifying marks are the property of their respective owners and are used solely for identification and educational reference.
Not official authentication. These guides do not constitute official brand authentication, a certificate of authenticity, an appraisal or a guarantee that any item is authentic. They summarize observable characteristics and research considerations that may vary by product, season, market and production period. No single label, code, stamp, image or construction detail should be relied upon in isolation.
Examine the complete item. When authenticity materially affects a purchase, sale or consignment decision, the complete physical item and its provenance should be evaluated by a qualified independent professional. Use of this library is at the reader’s discretion.

Sui Generis Intelligence
Enter the designer and the identifier exactly as it appears on the item. Sui Generis Intelligence applies documented designer-specific code rules and reference records where available. A matching number can provide context, but it cannot authenticate an item by itself.
Useful for documented identifiers such as Louis Vuitton date codes, Gucci style/product references, Chanel historical numeric identifiers, and designer-specific collection or production codes where Sui Generis has a supported rule.
