House Structure
Parent House → Women’s Fashion / Men’s Fashion / Travel & Leather Goods / Watches & Jewelry. These are Louis Vuitton category or creative lines, not independent lower-tier brands.
No conventional diffusion/sub-label hierarchy is asserted in the current Sui Generis Louis Vuitton guide scope. Future licensed or special labels should be added only when individually sourced.
Umbrella house: travel goods, leather goods, fashion, accessories, watches, jewelry and other métiers.
Parent house. The authentication guide uses “Louis Vuitton” as the primary brand identity; category/creative lines below are not diffusion labels.
Label / logo: Primary Louis Vuitton branding varies by era/category; compare labels and marks to exact product and period.
Identifiers: Model/product references and historical leather-goods identifiers are category/era-specific; no single line code authenticates the house.
Collection relationship: Fashion collection chronology begins with the ready-to-wear era; leather/travel goods history predates runway fashion by more than a century.
Parent: Louis Vuitton
Women’s ready-to-wear, handbags, shoes and fashion accessories in collection context.
Same Louis Vuitton parent brand; not a diffusion label. The collection archive tracks women’s runway/pre-fall/resort chronology separately from men’s where useful.
Label / logo: Uses Louis Vuitton house branding; collection-specific labels, product references and materials vary by season.
Identifiers: Date collection pieces through exact product reference/runway evidence rather than assuming a separate “women’s sub-brand” code.
Collection relationship: Women’s ready-to-wear runway chronology under the parent house.
Parent: Louis Vuitton
Men’s ready-to-wear, bags, shoes and accessories.
Same parent house; not a diffusion label. Men’s collections have their own creative-director chronology and collaboration history.
Label / logo: Uses Louis Vuitton house branding with season/creative-era variations.
Identifiers: Use exact men’s collection/product references; do not import assumptions from women’s or historical travel goods.
Collection relationship: Louis Vuitton states men’s ready-to-wear was created in 1999 for the first Men’s show in 2000; direct season-by-season archive coverage is maintained separately.
Parent: Louis Vuitton
Trunks, travel goods, handbags, small leather goods and related accessories.
Core parent-house product division rather than a separate brand. Many authentication identifiers/materials originate here and predate ready-to-wear.
Label / logo: Heat stamps, Monogram/Damier materials, hardware and model references vary substantially by era and family.
Identifiers: Historical visible date-code context applies to many leather goods, not every Louis Vuitton category or current product.
Collection relationship: Not dependent on runway chronology; many iconic families have independent model histories.
Parent: Louis Vuitton
Watches, fine jewelry and high jewelry.
Parent-house category line; not a diffusion brand. Current guide jewelry checks should not borrow leather-goods date-code logic.
Label / logo: Category-specific signatures, hallmarks, references and materials require jewelry/watch comparison standards.
Identifiers: Leather-goods visible date-code rules are not a universal watch/jewelry identifier system.
Collection relationship: Category program rather than standard fashion runway chronology.

Private Analysis
Upload the complete tag evidence or enter the visible code exactly. The private Sui Generis server returns only a bounded result or unknown / insufficient evidence.
Sui Generis Intelligence
Add the label evidence available on the item. For clothing, a brand or neck label can support a bounded product result while care/product labels can supply visible size, origin, materials and identifiers. Up to four photos can be analyzed together.
Add up to four label photos. For clothing, include the brand/neck label and the care/product label when available; front and back tag photos can be analyzed together. The storefront does not save the selected photos.
Optional: identify each photo as a Brand / neck label, Care / product label, or Code / stamp. This helps Sui Generis Intelligence keep line identity separate from production and care information.
Results only
If the private server cannot support a result, the analyzer returns unknown rather than guessing.

Takashi Murakami
Categories: Bags; small leather goods; travel; accessories; ready-to-wear; fragrance
Research confidence: HighSignature motifsMonogram Multicolore; Cherry Blossom; Cherry motifs; revived Murakami visual families presented in staged re-edition chapters
Materials / prints / colorsEdition-specific coated canvas, leather, textiles and accessories. Current Monogram Multicolore references revive the 33-color concept created for the House in 2003.
Identifying featuresCurrent products use LV × TM naming and new product references while reviving earlier Murakami visual vocabulary.
Identifier / reference notesUse the current LV × TM product reference and model page. Do not use Multicolore artwork alone to distinguish original-program pieces from 2025 re-editions. Sui Generis SKU 129000 was received into inventory on 2024-03-18 and measures 26.5 inches square, so it is explicitly excluded as a 2025 visual/reference specimen.
Yayoi Kusama
Categories: Leather goods; ready-to-wear; accessories; travel; watches and collectible objects
Research confidence: HighSignature motifsPainted Dots; Infinity Dots; Pumpkins; Faces; recurring Kusama dot vocabulary
Materials / prints / colorsMonogram canvas and other substrates with edition-specific printed, 3D-effect and applied dot treatments; materials vary by product.
Identifying featuresSome 2023 products explicitly use LV × YK signatures and simulated hand-painted 3D dot effects.
Identifier / reference notesUse exact LV × YK product references and official product pages; dots alone are not unique to one item or year.
Supreme
Categories: Men’s ready-to-wear; bags; small leather goods; shoes; accessories; objects
Research confidence: HighSignature motifsCo-branded LV/Supreme graphic treatments; red/white program; monogram mash-ups; edition-specific camouflage/chambray treatments
Materials / prints / colorsEpi leather, Monogram-based treatments, textiles and accessories documented for the Fall 2017 menswear project.
Identifying featuresThe collaboration was embedded in Kim Jones’s Fall 2017 menswear collection and extended across many product categories.
Identifier / reference notesVerify exact Louis Vuitton × Supreme item/model and release. Co-brand graphics are heavily copied and are never sufficient evidence.
Jeff Koons

Categories: Bags; small leather goods; accessories
Research confidence: HighSignature motifsOld Master artwork reproductions; large artist-name treatments; Koons-specific decorative details on selected pieces
Materials / prints / colorsPrinted/treated leather and canvas constructions vary by model; compare exact artwork/model pairing.
Identifying featuresEach design pairs a specific work/art-historical reference with a Louis Vuitton product.
Identifier / reference notesAuthenticate against the exact artwork, bag model and product reference; “Masters” is a program, not one universal construction.
Takashi Murakami
Categories: Bags; small leather goods; accessories; fashion; later program extensions
Research confidence: HighSignature motifsMonogram Multicolore; pop-flower and character-based Murakami vocabulary; later project-specific motif families
Materials / prints / colorsMonogram Multicolore coated canvas and other edition-specific materials. Louis Vuitton documents 33 colors in the original Multicolore concept.
Identifying featuresOriginal early-2000s collaboration introduced a radically multicolored interpretation of House codes and expanded into multiple motif families.
Identifier / reference notesUse exact original-program model/reference and release evidence. The 2025 re-edition means Multicolore artwork alone no longer establishes an early-2000s production date. Sui Generis SKU 129000 is a 26.5-inch white silk Monogram Multicolore square received into inventory on 2024-03-18, before the 2025 re-edition; it may be used as an original-program motif/reference specimen, but its individual production year remains unresolved and must not be stated as 2003 without additional evidence.
Stephen Sprouse
Categories: Bags; accessories; fashion capsule
Research confidence: HighSignature motifsRevived Sprouse graffiti in neon green, pink and orange; Sprouse rose motif used across tribute-era products.
Materials / prints / colorsMonogram leather goods and accessories plus fashion pieces using model-specific neon graffiti and digitized rose treatments; exact application varies by product.
Identifying featuresPosthumous Louis Vuitton/Marc Jacobs homage released in January 2009 after Stephen Sprouse’s 2004 death. Contemporary Vogue coverage describes the program as a tribute and records both revived graffiti and a rose motif.
Identifier / reference notes2009 tribute dating anchor. Graffiti overlaps with the 2001 original and later Vuitton reuse; do not date from graffiti alone. Sprouse rose-treatment products are a strong 2009 tribute cue but still require exact model/date-code/release confirmation. Spring 2014 is an explicit later-reuse control, so “not 2001” does not automatically mean “2009.” Sui Generis SKU 143421 is rights-safe internal photography but its exact fashion season remains unresolved; do not use it as a 2001 or 2009 visual anchor.
Stephen Sprouse
Categories: Bags; accessories; Spring 2001 fashion context
Research confidence: HighSignature motifsSprouse graffiti-painted “Louis Vuitton” word treatment over Monogram canvas; original collaboration language.
Materials / prints / colorsMonogram canvas and edition-specific leather-goods/accessory constructions; compare the exact 2001 model and graffiti color treatment.
Identifying featuresLouis Vuitton’s House chronology dates Stephen Sprouse’s Monogram reinterpretation to 2001. Vogue’s Spring 2001 review documents Sprouse graffiti-painted “Louis Vuitton” on new totes. The Spring 2001 collection was presented in October 2000, so archival captions may alternate between a 2000 presentation date and the 2001 collection year.
Identifier / reference notesHouse dating anchor: 2001. The Spring 2001 show was presented in October 2000, which explains some 2000/2001 archival caption variance. Graffiti is cross-era evidence because it returns in the 2009 tribute and later Sprouse-derived Vuitton work; do not date from graffiti alone. Spring 2014 is an explicit later-reuse control. Sui Generis SKU 143421 is rights-safe internal photography but its exact fashion season remains unresolved; do not use it as a 2001 or 2009 visual anchor.
Current/recent special projects. Reissues are stored separately from originals.
Major verified artist/brand programs with strong public source coverage.
Marc Jacobs-era anchor projects. Original Sprouse 2001 and the 2009 tribute remain distinct.
